Stephanie Tuckwell

Stephanie Tuckwell has always lived and breathed art. After studying at Goldsmith’s, University of London, and Aston University of Birmingham, Stephanie designed soft furnishings and fabrics for Liberty London and for Browns Furnishers.

Since 1995, Tuckwell has found inspiration in the dramatic Welsh landscape, after relocating there with her family. Her textiles have since developed into large-scale drawings and paintings that rely on inks and watercolors.

Throughout her career, Stephanie has taught in higher education at institutions including: London College of Fashion; Epsom School of Fine Art & Design; the Royal School of Needlework; Cardiff School of Art & Design; and Swansea College of Art, as a Senior Lecturer.

Stephanie now works as a professional artist full time, exhibiting widely. Her works have been recognized by many prestigious awards, and are showcased in numerous corporate, commercial, and private collections.
