Loren Chantland

Loren Chantland is a self-taught artist who has been painting and drawing for over 40 years. Loren grew up in rural Iowa and loved to watch the big sky rolling over the land. Magnificent big skies and awe-inspiring clouds are his favorite subjects, something that he has loved to paint all his life. He believes experiencing art in person is an education in itself, and one of the best ways to grow not only as an artist, but as a human being.

His work reflects a philosophy of a restless, ever-searching mind, and seeks to learn by stretching himself stylistically. His wide range of talent has enabled him to work on projects from Dubai to Hawaii, and he has enjoyed recognition on a national level for his art.

After traveling and exploring the world, Loren has moved back to his beloved Iowa and those glorious big skies. He now gets to paint from his quiet family farm.
